Pågående studier

IMPA-projektet är ett forskningsprojekt om implementering av FaR (fysisk aktivitet på recept) för barn som har obesitas. FaR-metoden används inom barnverksamhet idag, men har tidigare i stort sett inte alls forskats på gällande barn. IMPA står för ”Implementering av fysisk aktivitet på recept för barn som har obesitas”.

Aktiv 65 är en hälsoscreening av 65-åringar. 2012 beviljades FaR®-teamet medel för att bedriva en hälsoscreening av 65-åringar. Studien vänder sig till alla listade 65-åringar på en offentlig och en privat vårdcentral. Genom att screena och arbeta med risk- och friskfaktorer hos individen är målet att undvika och/eller skjuta upp insjuknandet i diabetes typ 2 och hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar. I arbetet används vetenskapligt utvärderade instrument såsom Hälsoprofilen, konditionstest och funktionstester.

Under 2022 presenteras ett magisterarbete utifrån datan som samlats in:
PHYSICAL FITNESS AND PHYSICAL ACTIVITY in persons 65 years of age living in the city center of Gothenburg.

Fysioterapeut Charlotte Boman har i sitt magisterarbete undersökt Utforskande av hur fysisk aktivitet kan främjas för barn med intellektuella utvecklingsrelaterade funktionsnedsättningar: vårdpersonalens upplevelser av behov, hinder och möjligheter.

Resultatet publiceras under 2022.

Fysioterapeut Panagiotis Kanellakis har i sitt master-arbete utvärderat FaR-fysioterapeutens arbete på motionsanläggning där 114 patienter med olika diagnoser följts upp efter en 6-månaders intervention. Ökad tilltro till att förändra fysisk aktivitet, en förbättrad fysisk aktivitetsnivå och högre egenskattad fysisk och psykisk hälsa är en del av resultaten vid 6-månaders uppföljning.
