Challenge-driven digitalization
There are many major technological opportunities in the pipeline for the food chain. A project led by Vreta Kluster aims for more technology providers to develop solutions to increase the competitiveness of the food chain.
About the project
Several new technologies are currently unavailable to parts of the food chain due to a commercial gap between different industries. The project titled "Challenge-driven digitalization for a more competitive food chain" targets actors throughout the food chain, from farm to fork, with the aim of identifying problem areas.
By identifying challenges and problems that can be solved with digitalization, sensors and communication, the project sets out to describe different cases and evaluate the impact of solving their problems. Some of the proposed solutions will also be tested in the real world.
