Programmes for Sustainable Development

Region Västra Götaland aims to accelerate the transition to long-term sustainable development in the region’s economic, environmental and social sectors. Our programmes for achieving this goal include collaboration-based development initiatives that aim to overcome current social challenges and, in doing so, also to create opportunities for sustainable regional development. These programmes also include a budget that gives projects and initiatives within Västra Götaland that will help achieve the goals laid out in its VG2020 strategy an opportunity to apply for support through funding.
