Region Västra Götaland supports efforts to develop competitive, innovative and sustainable maritime industries that can contribute to higher levels of employment, reduced environmental impact and an attractive living environment.
We work to achieve this aim by:
- Maintaining and developing the region’s maritime expertise and competitiveness
- Cooperating across sectors and industries
- Participating in long-term partnerships that include the private sector, academia and institutes as well as public-sector stakeholders, including municipalities and government agencies
- Influencing and being involved in national, European and international maritime agendas.
